Edd Fairman, Wizard of Sorts, has been a magician since the age of six, when he saw a magician at a cub scout meeting and his parents bought him a plastic magic set. Frustrated by the tough directions and flimsy plastic pieces, Edd didn’t discover that there were books of magic in the libraries and book stores for many years. Concentrating on performing for children, it has been Edd’s dream to share his love of reading. Now with, “Why I Love to Read,” Edd has that chance.
Take a journey with Edd Fairman, Wizard of Sorts, as he shares his love of reading and tells how magicians learn their craft from reading. During this forty- five minute magic show Edd will amaze your audience with his unbelievable magic as he teaches the importance of literacy and the value of life long reading. Six to twelve year old children will love the colorful, wacky magic, as Edd and his magical rabbit 'Beans' take the children and their adults along on a wacky adventure. Reading is the most important skill a child can learn and being shown how fun reading is will help wet their appetite for a life of reading.
